• WHO Calls for Tobacco Ad Ban

    The World Health Organization is calling on governments around the world to implement a global ban on tobacco advertising. Currently, about 5 percent of the world's population is covered by "comprehensive bans" on tobacco advertising, promotion and sponsorship, WHO states.
