• Canada Considers UK-Style Food Ad Ban

    A Canadian politician has proposed a ban of all food and drink television advertising directed to children under 13. Rosario Marchese, a member of Ontario's Provincial Parliament, said the ban is needed to reign in childhood obesity. He claimed that one in four Canadian children between the ages of 4 and 17 are obese.
